Today the students visited Moreland & Devitt. M&D is the longest running pharmacy in one location in the state of Illinois! The impressive history in the building was fun for the students to see.

Scott shared how they manage the difficult task of keeping a small local family owned pharmacy open when 2,200 have closed across the country this year alone. He discussed alternative revenue streams, profit per square foot and staying true to your brand.

It’s clear to see their passiom for the health of our local community and desire to continue to find new ways to serve.
